Building & Roof Inspections

Employing drones for building and roof inspections we can provide you with the safest and most cost effective solutions, giving you high quality accurate and clear data on asset condition without the risks and costs associated with working at heights.

Safety and cost saving are key factors for any business and using a drone to carry out roof and building inspections is often the optimum solution as a drone can be deployed to carry out a detailed inspection in less time than it takes for a team to erect scaffolding or arrange a mobile lifting platform.

Photogrammetry

Photogrammetry is “the use of photography in surveying and mapping to ascertain measurements between objects”.

Using the latest technology in this field Snowdonia Photography automatically capture hundreds of aerial images using drones, and use this data to generate 2 dimensional overviews and shareable photorealistic 3D models which can be interrogated to provide you with various measurement data including lengths, heights, angles, and volumes.

If you prefer to work in your own design software, these models can be supplied for use in various software packages such as Autocad, Vectorworks and Sketchup.

So whether you are a roofer wanting to know the area of a large complex roof, a landscape gardener interested in the dimensions and areas involved in you next projects, or a builder looking to monitor and record progress at key project stages, Snowdonia Photography can offer a quick and cost effective alternative to conventional methods of measuring and calculating.
